Very fast read. I enjoy read this kind of sexy abduction with wonderfully strong men and independent women to submitted to their will.. Only give it three stars because I wanted to read more. The next book in the series has less than 200 pages and it's $4.95. I read too much to purchase all four books and pay that price for each book.

I enjoyed this story. It not only had a great romance but the story was interesting as well. Even the story was short the characters were very intriguing.
Excellent Read. I could not put it down. I love this authors way of story telling. It kept me in the moment the whole time.
Great read! I felt afraid of Dante at first, and I wasn't quite sure whether to allow myself to like him, much like the heroine, Lana. Because of this, I was able to accompany her on her journey and understand her conflicting feelings of fear and love. She earns herself some spankings that are red hot and spine-tingling. The action and adventure keep the pages turning, and I hope there's a sequel that takes place in the same fantastical world that was imagined for this book. I don't usually go for sci-fi, but I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Five stars!
I don't usually enjoy Sci if but I did enjoy this book. It had a plot, I loved the descriptions of the planet, the sex and spanking was hot. Would have given it 5 stars but the ending was abrupt. Another page would have done it for me
Lana adjusts well to her captivity, but still keeps that human spirit to seek her independence. I loved her, not too rebellious, but not too quick to submit either. I like a little fight in my heroine, especially when she's been abducted from earth to become a slave. Well written, hot love scenes, and the spankings were spot on. Loved the book and looking forward to the rest of the series.
Terranovum is a planet filled with great beauty, wonder, and true magic! But nothing is ever perfect, regardless of how wondrous it might seem. What can be done to stop the source of evil that wants to utterly destroy not only Dante and his kingdom but also to bring down everything good that exists on Terranovum? Is it even possible for Dante to save his people and protect the planet? Where does Lana fit into all of this? She's just a slave. What can she do to save not only Dante and his closest friends and advisers, but also help protect Legeari and all of Terranovum itself?

Sara Fields is another of my favorite authors. Her writing is delightfully creative and inventive. She has the very real ability to combine elements of sci-fi, paranormal, and erotic romance into a tapestry of incredible depth and wonder. This first book in the Terranovum Brides Trilogy sets the tone for the entire series. The combination of action, adventure, magic, good, evil, and romance are uniquely and deliciously enchanting. Once again, Ms. Fields has created a story that shows her mastery of this genre. I was captivated from beginning to end, and can't wait to read the next book in the series. I give A Gift for the King my very highest recommendation. Thank you, Sara Fields, for giving us such an amazingly wonderful story. This book is exceptional, and you're truly an impressive author!
